Highlights from Dayforce Discover 2024

Last week ModusForce were proud to attend and sponsor Dayforce Discover in Las Vegas. It was the first conference since Dayforce re-branded and it did not disappoint. It started with Dayforce lighting up the Sphere and ended with the community enjoying 'Dayforce Disco' at the XS nightclub. These events are great fun and an excellent opportunity to meet with customers, Daymakers and other partners. The serious stuff happened across 4 packed days with many key takeaways that we would like to share.

Dayforce is Thriving

David Ossip, Dayforce CEO, started his keynote by sharing some facts about the business. A few things stood out. Dayforce revenue is up to $1.7bn, with over 6700 customers and a retention rate of 97%. We strongly believe if you are considering a technology solution you will benefit greatly from choosing an organisation that is successful and growing. The organisation and its people will be highly motivated, super positive plus it can afford to invest in new features and high levels of customer service.

AI (but not just the dream of AI)

Dayforce launched 'Dayforce Intelligence' at the conference and a couple of things struck us as important. Before jumping into the cool new features, they first addressed some of the baseline critical elements of AI; the need for AI to be intuitive, ethical, private, contextual, compliant and valuable. These weren't just words, but a fundamental set of values that have clearly driven the development of Dayforce Intelligence. Joe Korngiebel and his team energetically presented a series of fantastic features focused on how to predict, assist and recommend actions. ModusForce is truly excited about the potential of Dayforce Intelligence and has created a proposal for existing and new Dayforce customers to exploit the huge value in AI in Dayforce.

Workforce Management (WFM)

ModusForce has spoken a lot recently about the WFM and the power of Dayforce. Given the cost pressures on business following changes in the recent UK budget, we believe there has never been a better time to consider WFM. The technology market has changed significantly over the last few years with many solutions dropping out of consideration. If you are considering WFM or are considering replacing a legacy solution - you absolutely must consider Dayforce. Dayforce WFM is already recognised by organisations such as Gartner and Nucleas. As a leader in WFM and with new features such as machine learning forecasting and a new budgeting process Dayforce will cement their position as a 'must consider' for anyone thinking about WFM.

Dayforce community

It was clear from the conference that Dayforce community is thriving. You may ask 'so what?' Our view of this is just as important as the features and function of the solution. You want a solution within a great community. We saw some great customer presentations, partners working together for the benefit of their customers and Daymakers motivated and committed to the success of Dayforce. Positivity about the future was at the heart of the conference and the spirit of shared success spread across everyone we met.
