Role Overview
As an Integration Lead, you’ll play a key role in connecting Dayforce and other HR systems to the wider tech ecosystem. From payroll interfaces to identity management and reporting tools, you'll design, build, and test secure, scalable integrations that make systems talk - reliably and efficiently.
In parallel, you’ll help embed AI-enabled approaches into integration delivery. From accelerating data mapping and testing to improving documentation, monitoring, and ongoing support. This is a practical, delivery-focused role where AI is used to make our work better and faster, not as a theoretical exercise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations between Dayforce and third-party systems (e.g., payroll, finance, benefits, identity)
- Work with clients to understand technical requirements, data formats, and security protocols
- Build integration specifications, transformation logic, and API mappings
- Configure, code and build integrations using supported platforms or middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi, SnapLogic, custom APIs)
- Perform integration testing, troubleshooting and defect resolutions in collaboration with clients and vendors
- Support go-live and post-launch technical activities
- Provide technical oversight and review of integration work delivered by other team members
- Support consistency and quality across integrations by sharing patterns, standards, and best practices
- Act as a senior technical sounding board for complex integration or data issues on active projects
- Help identify delivery risks early and work with Emma and the wider team to resolve them
- Identify opportunities to use AI tools to improve integration delivery, such as:
- Accelerating data mapping and transformation logic
- Supporting automated testing, validation, and reconciliation
- Improving integration documentation and handover materials
- Enhancing monitoring, issue triage, and support workflows
- Work across teams to help embed these AI-enabled approaches into day-to-day delivery in a practical, scalable way
- Stay curious and on top of emerging AI capabilities and assess continuously where they can genuinely add value to client work
What You Bring
- Strong understanding of APIs, file-based integrations (CSV/XML/JSON), and middleware
- Experience working with HCM systems - Dayforce a strong advantage
- Good grasp of authentication protocols (SFTP, OAuth, etc.) and data privacy requirements
- Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
- Able to communicate technical detail clearly to both developers and non-technical stakeholders
